Banglore won the toss & elected to bat first,which proved to be a bad decision. S.Sreesanth strike on Royal Challengers batsman and took 3 wickets & was most successive bowler. After the first wicket, Misbah-ul-haq was providing some momentum by scoring 21 runs of 8 balls, but, was unfortunately got out as hit-wicket.
Chasing 144 runs,Kings XI Punjab had a great start, James Hopes & Shaun Marsh were doing very well. After the wicket of Hopes, Luke came playing his first IPL match & had some great shots with his partner & Man of the match Shaun Marsh.
They won by 9 wickets.
