''What a exciting match it was!!''....ask anyone you want to..& everyone would reply like that.A match that finished at the last ball & was one of the exciting final...a cricket lover would like to watch...

CSK batting first, had a good start ..however at 39 runs, wicket of Vidyut was taken by Y.Pathan. He took 3 wickets of CSK giving away just 22 runs in his 4 over spell. he took wicket of Vidyut, Morkel & Patel. P.Patel played a good inning & S.Raina too supported his team to reach a respectable score of 163.

When RR came to bat at D.Y.Patil stadium, They were on backfoot..& their score was 42-3...however, Y.Pathan showed his class by hitting 56 runs off just 39 balls including 4 sixes & 3 fours..he was given DLF maximum sixes award & man of the match too.wicket of RR fell at regular interval after the wicket of Y.Pathan.
In last over skipper Warne & Tanvir were batting..they needed 8 runs off 6 balls...& somehow they managed to get it....& RR became first champion team of DLF IPL 2008 History. They won by 3 wickets.

Man of the series award was given to S.Watson.

Jayasuriya on fire

Today, In the match between Mumbai Indians & CSK, The Lankan Tiger roared at last & showed his worth in the team. He scored 114* from just 48 balls hitting 11 sixes & 9 boundaries. Earlier CSK gave target of 156 in 20 overs,with important contribution from M.S.Dhoni 43* & S.Badrinath 53 & they had partnership of 92 runs after 46-4.They(CSK) fought back to reach a respectable score.

Chasing 156, Most awaited player S.Tendulkar & S. Jayasuriya came to open innings for MI. The crowd, however, came to see batting of sachin failed to see his big shots.Instead Jayasuriya thought,Let this day be mine & he smashed his first century.102 runs out of 114 came from boundaries only.

MI won by 9 wickets.After that,at presentation when Ian Bishop called Dhoni to have few words with him, no one cheer for Dhoni.The cool minded captain.however, said" It doesn't matter.when i will play for India, they will cheer me for sure."

MI need more 4 wins to ensure his place at semis.Man of the match award ,of course, for S. Jayasuriya.

I M FIT NOW: SACHIN

Today in the IPL match,we got to see master blaster Sachin Tendulkar, playing his first IPL match. He did not play 7 matches due to groin injury that he faced during India- SA test series.
Today he will be the captain of Mumbai Indians.However , he said that it doesn't matter who is the captain , it is just about helping teammates & win the match. M.Dhoni said it will be difficult to win against Mumbai Indians as Sachin is playing today...once he starts playing, its difficult to stop him.
Lets see what Little Master can do??

CSK crashes Punjab::Balaji got hat-trick

After the Super start by Sreesanth,taking two wickets in two overs i.e. of Vidyut & Fleming, S.Badrinath & skipper M.dhoni striked on team Mohali. Dhoni has decided to have a great weekend party & hence he started scoring from first ball only.
Local hero S.badrinath also provided great momentum to his team & reached a respectable score of 181.Dhoni (60 off 43 balls) & Badrinath(64 off 47 balls) set up partnership of 91 runs.
Chasing 182,team Mohali had poor start & only Shaun marsh was looking good.they found L.Balaji,the former indian strike bowler,too hot to handle as he got first IPL hat-trick.he took 5 wicket.Irfan pathan then showed his fireworks ,but was too late for team Mohali.
Score Summary:
Team Chennai: 181/4 in 20 overs (S.badrinath-64 runs,S.Sreesanth 2/29)
Team Mohali: 119/6 in 0 overs (S.marsh-58 runs,L.balaji 5/24).

Today King V/S King

Today We will have a great match between Chennai Superkings & Kings XI Punjab...That is a match between M.S.Dhoni (Captain Of Indian team) V/s Yuvraj Singh (Vice-captain of Indian team)...It will be great to watch them at Chennai.
In points table,Mohali team is at 2 nd position after Rajasthan Royals & CSK are at position 4 after losing 3 matches in a row.Lets wait for today's action.
