Sunil Gavaskar quits as ICC comittee chairman

The Controversy about Sunil Gavaskar regarding the chairmanship of ICC committee chairman came to end when he announced his resignation from the post.Former Indian Captain conveyed his decision yo the ICC bringing an end to his 8 year stint which was full of controversies.

ICC chief executive officer David Richardson also said that , Gavaskar intimated his decision o wednesday after the ICC meeting took place.

World class player was elected as ICC committee chairman in June 2000. However the decision is yet to taken by ICC that wo will take place of Gavaskar
